It's back! Annoucing SS/HG Smut Fest 2017

SS/HG Smut Fest will be back again in 2017 for our second annual fest. Prompting will begin in just over a month from now!

2017 Fest Schedule
Thanks to everyone's feedback on last year's fest, this year's fest will have a longer period for creating your smutty masterpieces. Here is the fest timeline for 2017:

Prompting: June 2-16, 2017
Claiming opens: June 18, 2017
Submission deadline: August 18, 2017
Posting begins: September 1, 2017

Updated Rules
There have been a couple small updates to the rules this year:

• All submissions must contain explicit sexual or erotic content, as outlined in these guidelines.
  
• The minimum word count for fan fiction submitted to the fest is now 800 words
  

LJ TOS, Dreamwidth, and Posting
Livejournal will continue to be the primary home of SS/HG Smut Fest. However, the community has been backed up onto Dreamwidth in case of emergency, and you can find and join the community here: http://sshg-smut.dreamwidth.org/.

Posting in 2017 will occur on Livejournal, Dreamwidth, and AO3. Please note that due to the inability to schedule or crosspost on Dreamwidth communities, posting may occur at a slower rate on this service. Prompting and claiming will occur on Livejournal only. You do not need a Livejournal account to participate.
