I can totally imagine a Severus who's unwilling to touch in public. And frankly, that Debussy is boring as hell, so I imagine that Hermione's mind was wandering! Glad to see that Severus was already coming around to public displays of affection before this incident, since it shows that he knows his partner well and is willing to compromise for her sake.
