For the purposes of SS/HG Smut Fest, "sexual and erotic content" describes graphic depictions of sexual intercourse, non-penetrative sex, or masturbation. It also includes elements of BDSM or fetish, provided they are highly sexualized in nature.
In essence, "sexual or erotic content" or "smut" refers to porn. It can be traditional porn, loving and sensual porn, porn without plot, porn buried in lots of plot, kinky porn, fetish porn, hilarious porn, beautifully rendered artistic porn—whatever you like, however you like, but it should occur "on screen" and be clear to the reader or viewer what is going on.
In general, this would require a content rating of NC-17 or Explicit.
Nudity, sex talk, and fetishes, without additional sexual content, do not meet the requirements for "sexual or erotic content" for the purposes of the fest.
